Details

This flavoured black loose-leaf tea is presented in an elegant caddy, the design of which draws inspiration from the cornflowers used in the blend. The shape of these caddies makes them stackable for easy, organised storage and neat kitchen displays. Now there’s no excuse not to add this one to your tea caddy collection…

Many people don’t know that this famous tea was named after Charles Grey, the second Earl Grey, who served as the British Prime Minister at the beginning of the 19th century. This variation of the quintessentially British blend of fine Chinese and Ceylon black tea varieties is perfectly balanced, sprinkled with the flavour of citrussy bergamot. For the elegant final flourish, there’s even an addition of blue cornflower petals in this luxurious tea.

The company Whittard of Chelsea was established by Walter Whittard, who opened a tea shop in London in 1886. Today, this retail chain selling tea and related products boasts more than fifty shops all over Britain.

Ingredients: black tea, orange peel, bergamot flavouring, 1% cornflower petals.

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Storage conditions: store in a cool, dry place, away from bright light and strong odours.
