Max Perez spent his childhood running around coffee plantations in faraway lands of Guatemala. Having dreamed of owning a coffee plantation from an early age, he finally realized his dream in 2010. He purchased coffee plantation in one of Guatemala’s most prestigious and protected coffee regions – Acatenango and set up a farm “La Hermosa” with his family.

Even though it requires a lot of work and effort to take care of the plantation, love and passion combined with the magnificent volcanoes, perfect climate and rich in minerals soil have a huge impact on the special taste of this Guatemalan coffee.

Due to the exceptional quality and taste, this coffee is marked as Specialty. According to the SCA it scores 84 out of 100.
