The women-run “Twongerekawa Coko” cooperative is located 2000 m above sea level, near the volcanic region of northwestern Rwanda. The soil of this area is suited perfectly for the growing of high-quality coffee characterised by vivid notes of fruit. Due to the honey process used when treating the beans, this coffee is endowed with unique sweetness and complexity of taste.
Even though the flavours of this coffee are best unveiled with the help of an espresso coffee machine, you can definitely prepare it using the French press, the AeroPress coffee maker or a moka pot too.
